This was the first system in the world that combined two tires with a different tread: directional at the front axle and asymmetric at the rear axle.
A solution conceived for the most prestigious sportive and luxury cars.
Depending on the use and the type of car the P ZERO SYSTEM concept envisages the use of the P ZERO Direzionale on the front axle and the P ZERO Asimmetrico on the rear, or P ZERO Asimmetrico on both axles.
Using directional tires on the front maximizes the expulsion of water. In this way the asymmetric tires fitted on the rear axle encounter a drier surface.
The result is high directional stability and, also at higher speeds, exceptional levels of grip on dry and wet surfaces and high resistance to aquaplaning.

Test Asymmetrical tyres are those which have a tread pattern that is different from one side to another - ie non symmetrical. Tread patterns vary, some giving particularly good dry grip, some have characteristics designed to enhance wet performance. An asymmetrical tyre offers the best of both worlds by combining the two patterns across the width of the tread.
ZR = Approved for speeds over 240 km/h. Please note that the actual speed will be individually calculated by the tire manufacturer depending on the axle loads, tire inflation pressures and wheel alignment.
