Hero tyres are manufactured in China by the Federal Corporation, Taiwan’s largest tyre company. Federal Corporation was originally founded as a rubber company in 1954, producing their first tyre in 1958 and commencing exports in 1965.

Strong Technical Partnerships

The Bridgestone Tyre Co. Ltd. provided technical cooperation from 1960 to 1980, and from 1981 until present, the company has been in technical cooperation with Dunlop Tyre Japan. Federal Corporation took ownership of JiangXi Rubber Plant (Nan Chang) in 1997, and under the name JiangXi Federal Tyre began commercial production. Hero Brand tyres began mass production in 1999.
