Experience the Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx

The Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx is a high-performance summer tyre built for high powered sports cars and premium, luxury sedans. It features Dunlop HydroMax technology that guarantees wet weather performance, which includes Twin Hydro-Paddle ribs that drains the tyre out quickly, preventing hydroplaning and enhancing wet weather handling. Its tread compound is formulated with silica and carbon black, which improve braking and acceleration capabilities, enhance road traction and protect the tyre from wear and tear. It sports a Multi Radius Tread design with a directional tread pattern and along with larger shoulder blocks, provide supreme control, grip and handling during cornering. A continuous centre rib allows for more responsive steering even at top speeds while Dunlop 5-block tread design eliminates tyre noise for a more comfortable ride. Further adding strength, durability and stability to the tyre are the two steel belts with Jointless Band reinforcement found within.

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

240 AA A

•  240 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  AA Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
