The Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor is an all terrain tyre that features Goodyear's Silent Armor Technology. The DuPont Kevlar technology used by Goodyear allows for extra strength, helping to increase performance on off road terrains. The silica compound helps to provide grip on on-road surfaces as well as lowering road noise to provide more comfort. The large tread blocks help to give strength and toughness, increasing grip and stability on off road surfaces, especially in muddy conditions. The tyres are made up of a tough compound, helping to resist cuts and punctures in the tread and sidewall areas. Further, rim protection is used by the sidewall providing a lip of rubber around the wheel, helping to protect the wheels in off road conditions. The Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor is the optimal all terrain tyre for 4x4 vehicles.

This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.
• A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.
• B Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.
